Japanese Kingsville Boxwood-Large (buxus microphylla 'compacta')
Native to Japan The Kingsville Boxwood is an extremely slow growing tree. It has the smallest leaf of all boxwoods which is why it is sought after for bonsai. The Kingsville Boxwood is an evergeen tree with light green leaves and has excellent branching characheristics.
White Rabbit's Foot Fern (humata tyermanii)
The White Rabbit's Foot Fern is native to the Canary Islands and can grow as a terrestrial or epiphyte. It has finely dissected fronds that rise up from its furry, silver rhizomes hence the name "White Rabbit's Foot Fern". Likes bright light but avoid direct sun.
Brazilian Raintree Large (pithecellobium tortum)
This hardwood tree is native to Brazil and its rainforests. The raintree has delicate branchesand tiny light-green compound leaves and is spiny. The leaves fold up at night or in subdued light.This tree wakes up when we do. Easy indoor care. 12"-14" tall. 13 years old.
Flowering Pink Hibiscus (anisodontea scabrosa)
Dwarf evergreen tree native to the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. Fairly fast growing , rewarding tree that flowers for most of the year. It has rounded 1" long three lobed pink flowers along arching branches.
Divi Divi Tree (caesalpinia coriaria)
Native to Aruba and Cuacao the Divi Divi is a small thornless very slow growing tree whose seed pods are a source of tanin. It has very small (less than 1/2" long) evergreen foliage. The small flowers appear in terminal clusters and are very fragrant.
